Wind speed is address-specific
Design wind speed varies across Pinellas County, and exposure category changes with what surrounds the house — an open waterfront lot on the bay is not the same as an interior block in Crescent Lake. Both feed the uplift calculation.
Uplift concentrates at the edges
Wind does not load a roof evenly. Corner and edge zones see the highest uplift, which is why plan sets specify tighter attachment spacing there and often keep modules set back from the perimeter. A layout that crowds the edge to squeeze in two more modules is buying production with risk.
Attachment is where jobs are won or lost
