Our story

Started in 2022 as a Florida solar company

Origin wasn't built in a boardroom. It started small in Central Florida and grew as fast as the industry did — on referrals, near-five-star reviews, and crews who still show up to the walkthrough.

  1. 2022 — Chapter one

    We started in solar

Origin opened its doors in 2022 as a solar company — a small crew, a short customer list, and one rule: do the job the way you'd want it done on your own house. No showroom, no sales theater — just work that held up.

  2. Chapter two

Word of mouth did the marketing

Homeowners told their neighbors. Our reviews climbed toward five stars and stayed there, because the crews who quoted the job were the crews who showed up to do it.

  3. Chapter three

We grew as fast as the industry did

Roofing came next, because a solar install is only as good as the roof under it. Then batteries, standby generators, and the electrical work behind all of it — every trade brought in-house instead of subbed out.

  4. Today

One team, separate trades, packaged when it makes sense

We install roofs. We install solar. We can package them together when the timing lines up. What stays constant is licensed in-house crews, straight numbers, and no evening pressure pitches.

What we hold to

Say the real number

Every estimate shows its assumptions. If solar doesn't pencil out for your roof or your usage, we'll tell you that instead of selling around it.

Own the whole job

The people on your roof are on our payroll. They're trained on our standards and they're the ones who come back for a warranty call.

Build for hurricane country

Wind ratings, flashing, sealing, attachment methods — designed for the storms we actually get, not a national spec sheet.

Leave it better than found

Clean job sites, magnet sweeps, and a walkthrough before we pull the trucks out of the driveway.
