Shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs present different installation questions. Use these photos to explain the kind of roof you have, then ask how attachments, flashing, roof condition and access will be reviewed for your property. The visible layout is only one part of a complete system design.
Separate roof planes, existing equipment and nearby trees can influence a proposed layout. Bring a recent utility bill into the same discussion so roof space is considered alongside electricity use. A photograph does not establish a system’s production, capacity or backup capability.
