What net metering does
Production you do not use immediately flows to the grid and earns a credit. When you draw at night, credits offset the draw. The meter nets the two.

- Your usage moves too — a hot month eats more than a mild one
Reading the statement
Find kWh delivered, kWh received, and the credit balance carried forward. Judge a system on the received number and the credit trend across a full year, not on a single Pinellas County summer bill.
What genuinely signals a problem
A production drop against your own monitoring baseline, a string or optimiser reporting offline, or a sudden change with no weather or usage explanation. That is when to call us.
