Explore the full market guideDo standard solar panels work during an outage?
Most grid-connected systems shut down during an outage. Backup requires compatible equipment designed around the loads and duration you need.
Is net metering proof of a specific savings amount?
No. The applicable tariff is one input. A property-specific review must also consider usage timing, production, fixed charges, financing and the installed scope.
What should I send?
Start with a recent electric bill or twelve months of usage. If you already have a solar proposal, include the equipment, system size, production estimate, installed price and payment terms.
Is the review free?
Yes. There is no charge or obligation. Origin may offer a project proposal after confirming fit and coverage, but you decide whether to continue.
