Map the member duties
Identify account authorization, contract decisions, requested signatures, property access and record retention. Ask WREC directly when the current instructions are unclear.
Map contractor duties
List design, equipment documentation, permit work, installation, corrections, inspection coordination and commissioning. Verify relevant Florida licenses through DBPR. [3]
Map cooperative decisions
WREC controls its application, metering, account and interconnection determinations. A contractor may transmit information but cannot issue cooperative authorization. Keep the actual WREC response in the project file.
Use a responsibility table
Track due date, evidence, owner and status for every action. Replace vague “utility pending” labels with the exact requested item, responding party and latest documented date.
