Find the original baseline
Locate the cooperative agreement or authorization, meter record, permit closeout, one-line and equipment schedule. Document gaps before presenting a revision.
Calculate the combined design
List all existing and new module DC capacity, inverter AC output and storage ratings. Annual kWh is not an equipment capacity field.
Review physical constraints
Have qualified professionals assess roof condition, attachments, shade, service equipment, conductors, disconnects and protection. Empty roof area alone does not establish feasibility, compatibility or approval.
Confirm current change rules
Ask WREC and the permit jurisdiction which documents or approvals apply before ordering equipment. Keep their written guidance with the final as-built record and homeowner handoff.
