Confirm SECO serves the meter
Use the current bill and meter information rather than the city name. Central Florida service territories do not follow every municipal boundary, so a nearby neighbor may have a different utility process.
Create the member record
Match member name, service address and meter identifier across the proposal and application. Ask who may authorize the file if the property is held by a trust, business, estate or landlord.
Assemble the technical set
Keep the one-line, equipment schedule, module and inverter data, storage details and proposed capacity together. Use revision dates so an early drawing cannot be mistaken for the installed design.
Log SECO communications
Save confirmations, correction requests and the final decision with dates and responsible parties. Cooperative membership does not replace permits, contractor duties or equipment-owner obligations.
