Define operating behavior
State grid charging, solar charging, export, reserve and outage modes. List the backed-up circuits and simultaneous-load limits instead of relying on a “whole home” label.
Update technical documents
Show battery, inverter, gateway, transfer equipment, protection and backup panel on the one-line. Match exact models with the proposal and permit set.
Ask OEU before procurement
Use the current utility channel to confirm the applicable request, size or engineering review. An old solar PTO does not describe equipment added later.
Plan the owner handoff
Keep commissioning, monitoring control, shutdown instructions, warranty registration and load priorities. Explain what happens when usable stored energy is depleted.
