Use Enphase production and usage reports to build a solar service record

The Enphase App can show production history and reports. Export aligned dates and record what is missing before requesting maintenance.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Enphase describes its homeowner app as a way to verify system health, view production by hour, day or month and run production and usage reports. [1]

Start with a precise symptom

Write whether total production is low, usage is absent, one device is missing or the entire site stopped reporting. Include the first date noticed and whether a utility outage, router change or electrical work occurred nearby.

Export comparable periods

Choose complete date ranges with a useful comparison, such as the same month in consecutive years or several clear days before and after an alert. Keep kWh totals and interval charts. Do not rely on a single midday kW screenshot.

Mark data gaps separately

A blank interval can be a communications problem rather than proof that solar stopped. Note whether the app labels the system normal, not reporting or impaired. Check the utility bill only as a separate meter record; it does not measure all behind-the-meter solar production.

Add system identity

Include the site name, service address, IQ Gateway or Envoy serial, microinverter family and account email. If the installer is unavailable, this information helps a new provider locate the correct equipment history without guessing from rooftop appearance.

Share a focused packet

Send the export, screenshots, timeline and model information with the service request. Remove unrelated personal account data. Origin can then define a diagnostic scope; a report is evidence for investigation, not by itself a warranty decision or failed-equipment diagnosis.

Before your next conversation

  • Describe the missing or changed metric.
  • Export aligned production and usage periods.
  • Record gateway and account identifiers.
  • Send charts with the service timeline.

Need help with the system you already have?

Request solar maintenance with the Enphase report and symptom timeline.

Request solar service

Equipment support, diagnostic fees, availability and accepted work are confirmed before service. A request is not a confirmed appointment.
